This is an original document, a contemporaneous accounting of debts between Capt. John Watts and William Watts, who are either brothers or a father-son duo.  I believe this is a Prince Edward County, Virginia document.
In pounds, shillings and pence--I believe.
Dates on the accounting range from March of 1781 to December of 1786.
There is edge wear and staining.  This is a two-page document on watermarked paper (seated woman).  The size is about 13" x 8" but it is actually a folded larger sheet that is double that size.
The first entries appear to be dividing proceeds from tobacco sales, then paying debts.  A number relate to clothing including "church cloth" and "Silk Stockings."
The second largest dollar entry appears to be 100 pounds dated January 11, 1785 for "To John Tabb for Negro to Pay Ms. Bouldwin."
The largest is November 15, 1786 for 150 pounds "To John Booker for Capt. Pemberton."
The smallest is one of the last--Nov 30th 1786--"By Military Warrant  09"
