    Description

This is a pre-Prohibition antique beer bottle embossed on the bottom, "SB & G Co” along with a number "10". The deep brown bottle is hand-blown with side mold and flared lip. The vintage bottle mark represents the Streator Bottle & Glass Company of Streator, Illinois (1881-1905). The Streator plant eventually became part of the American Bottle Company, then the Owens Bottle Company, and finally the Owens Illinois Glass Company.  My father, an avid bottle digger, found the bottle more than 40 years ago in the ruins of an old southern plantation in Virginia. The vintage liquor bottle is in beautiful condition without breaks or cracks. The brown color is deep and rich. There are age related bubbles in the glass. The bottle measures about 12" tall and 3" wide.
Please Note: This is an empty bottle sold as a collectible for display purposes. The bottle contains no alcohol.
