This is a famous French style theme, commonly known as the "Noble
Love Courting
" tapestry, with young high society lords and ladies in a classic royal style garden, with flowers, trees, and statues. Pastoral tapestries were very much in vogue throughout Europe in the late Middle Ages and Renaissance, being both highly decorative and beautiful!
This is a very beautiful old vintage wall hanging tapestry, mounted on board and coming in a superb ornate gilded frame!

Very Good used vintage condition, showing minimum age wear, nothing noticeable at all, visible in close examination only: tiny stains and scratches, some discoloration and dust.

Giant, Extra Large Size: circa 63'' x 23 1/2'' for the frame, and 55 1/2’’ x 18’’  for the image area.
