Ipswich, Mass. Handwritten Deed, February 6, 1754

Description

A beautiful handwritten Colonial Era deed from Ipswich, Massachusetts whereby Emerson Cogswell sells to Thomas Burnam , clearly dated February 6, 1754 "in the Twenty Seventh year of his Majesties Reign".  Signed by Emerson Cogswell (with sealing wax seal) and witnessed by Arthur Abbot and Daniel Giddings, Jun.  Approximately 12 1/4" x 7 1/2" in size, excellent condition except for fold lines--very dark ink.
