OTTO BASSANO Masquerade Face Mask Folk Art Wall Deco Made in Venice, Italy w/tag
This Folk Art Masquerade mask was hand created by renowned Italian artist Otto Bassano from Venice. Hand-made paper-mâché mask made with the Craquelè technique, painted in color and gold and also hand decorated with scrolls motifs and bells at the tips. The trimmed hat and collar ornaments are in plain and embroidered felt like material This mask ties in the back with two soft matching ribbons. Full-face mask, suitable for wearing or as home decor wall element.
Mask itself measures 10" x 6", overall measures approx. 18" x 18" (very large!). Would make a great wall decoration. Made in Venice.
