    Description

    This is a rare & amazing find for collectors of beer, bottles, or Philadelphia memorabilia. It has been in storage for decades and ready to find a new home.
    The J&P Beer bottle is brown in color, 1 pint 15 oz. in volume, and is sealed shut with what I presume is the original wire bottle stopper. I didn’t want to ruin the integrity of the bottle or the stopper by popping open the top. The bottle is 12” tall and empty inside. There are no chips or cracks.
    J & P Baltz Brewing Company, owned by brothers Jacob and Peter Baltz, opened in 1881 and closed in 1920. The brewery was at 31st & Thompson Streets in Philadelphia.
