For sale is this amazing Americana collection, witch theirs no other way to describe it as an INSANE 54 piece Vintage SINCLAIR OIL GAS Dinosaur Figure Toy Memorabilia collection. These dinosaurs have 2 types of collectors that will be interested so its best to act fast lol , not only Sinclair oil company collectors but also your regular Dinosaur collectors that search and just want any rare dinosaur that no one has. Either way , here's a chance to own some of the most rare vintage Dinosaurs in American, that definitely no one else will have , enjoy  🙂
Again these are extremely rare Sinclair dinosaurs and its hard to find any other similar ones . Most of the ones that you see on ebay or any other website,  are the very small Tiny dinosaur figures that came in small packages of 4 only. They came in many colors and sometimes they came with one Cave man . I search and search the web and was able to find some other pics that sold on the internet ( look at the last pic ) . And quite frankly,  they are extremely rare, specially the ones I have for sale, their color and size makes them more collectible
As you can see by the pictures , my collection of dinosaurs come in 3 different sizes. Your most common size are the very small figures, witch you can see several small packs selling on ebay  , these were given for free at Sinclair gas stations when you purchased some gas. The other 2 sizes are more rare , and your lucky if you find just 1 dinosaur selling for - or more each, really,  depending on the color and sizes gives it more value.  I believe their is one other larger size , but again those are also rare and your lucky to find just one.
CONDITION : I'm selling these as Like new or other immaculate conditions, never been used or played  with, but no original bag. These Dinosaur belong to my grandfather and were stored for many years , it was luck that I found them looking for stuff to sell on ebay, they were stored in an old trunk,  witch at first I had no idea what they were untill I did my research.
BRIEF SINCLAIR OIL COMPANY HISTORY OF THE DINOSAURS :
Every one from the 60's  remembers  Sinclair oil Company that was one of the largest Privately own oil companies in the U.S. Sinclair oil later became ARCO in 1971, witch most of their history and nostalgia went with it.
Sinclair used to have dinosaur promo exhibitions ( Dinoland / Mol-A-Rama ) that toured the country. Sinclair spent years sponsoring their logo dinosaurs, featuring life-size replicas of nine different dinosaurs, including their signature brontosaurus. Souvenirs from the exhibitions included a brochure and molded plastic figurines of the dinosaurs featured.
Kids from 60's also remember being young and were able to buy a Sinclair dinosaur figure only available upon fill ups at their local Sinclair Gas station. Their dads filled their gas tank every other
day over and over because their kids couldn't get enough of the dinosaurs.
The reason why Sinclair used a dinosaur in their logo - it's a reference to the dinosaurs being turned over time to fossil fuel and turning up in our gasoline and motor oils.
Sinclair Oil plastic Dinosaurs are now highly sought-after Americana nostalgia and are in great demand. They have become extremely Rare especially in very good condition similar to an Olympic gold medal
Many people don't know what ever happened to their cute little dinosaurs toys they bought at Sinclair Gas Stations. Those things were made with a fairly low melting point plastic and when I left in the heat or back of a car window they melted or just got lost in history as another simple toy.
There were other Sinclair dinosaur toys from the 1964 world fair
besides the ones created from the Mold-A-Rama. They don't have their feet in a plastic base but stand on their own feet. They are more rare and better quality than the free dinosaurs from Sinclair filling stations used to give out after filling up with gas. These are highly collectible and  more sought-after by collectors.
