Vintage Unusual Double Metal Art Deco Borzoi Dog Figurine Metal 5.4" L USA

This is an unusual  vintage Borzoi metal figurine.  It was found in an estate sale.   I was told that the figurine was made of pot metal overlaid with pewter. In a few places you will see a darker gray color.  That is where the overlay has worn away and the darker pot metal is exposed.   I was also told that this figurine was made in the USA many years ago...but no one seemed to know exactly how many.
The Borzoi is well proportioned and detailed.     Measurement is approximately:  5.4" L.   The figurine is sturdy.  It was hollow cast but still carries some weight!  The style is art deco.
