    Description

    Up for auction, we are offering a beautiful, vintage light to medium cornflower blue pint fruit jar embossed,
    ATLAS
    (dropped A)
    - STRONG SHOULDER - MASON
    .
    It is embossed on the bottom off center with the number
    5
    .
    The smooth lip jar comes with
    a porcelain lined, screw zinc metal lid.
    The porcelain liner is embossed,
    GENUINE ZINC CAP – FOR BALL MASON JARS
    .
    The
    jar measures about 5&1/2 inches tall with lid.
    I believe the jar is listed in Red Book #164.
    The jar is in very good condition with no cracks.
    For completeness, there is one very small flat chip just below the lip (see pic).
    In addition, there are a few light scratches and a few bubbles in the glass.
    The zinc lid is in good condition with very little corrosion and a small “dent” on the top edge (see pic).
    The porcelain liner is a little loose.
